Journey

A journey
of a thousand miles,
or a thousand years,
may begin
by taking
a single step
forward,
but who among us
knew
those long
aeons ago
that each entity
creates his
or her own path?
Who knew
our journey
transcends
reciprocally
emergent time
and inner space?
Working through
some unresolved
karma
the other day,
I reached
another crossroad
and carefully looked
in all directions
as far
as Mind could see.
Happily,
our egoless
togetherness
is unperturbed
by the many human
steps between us.
You are always
with me.
And I am always
with you.
